When you hear a sound it goes through your pinna (your outer ear, it funnels), and it vibrates in your auditory canal which is ear wax and the ear wax protects the bugs away and it’s waterproof. And it goes in your tympanum. 

It goes inside your ossicles which stands for hammer, anvil and stirrup. And the 

It goes through your cochlea in your auditory nerve to your brain.
